Job summary

General Datum is seeking Space Mission Analysis Interns interested in space mission design, mission analysis and performance evaluation. The internship targets candidates with backgrounds in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Space Engineering and a keen interest in mission planning and orbital analysis.

Applicants should be familiar with orbital mechanics, trajectory analysis, satellite systems, astrodynamics, space environment, and programming in Python or MATLAB.

The internship is suited for candidates with an academic background in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Space Engineering, or related disciplines, with an interest in mission planning and orbital analysis.

Candidates should have knowledge or exposure to areas such as Orbital Mechanics, Space Mission Design, Trajectory Analysis, Satellite Systems, Astrodynamics, Space Environment, and Python/MATLAB programming. Familiarity with tools such as MATLAB, Python, STK, GMAT, FreeFlyer, and Microsoft Excel will be beneficial.
