Galaxeye Space Solutions Pvt Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to assist in spacecraft design and analysis. The role covers structures, thermal engineering, and structural dynamics for spacecraft and payload systems.

The candidate should have a solid understanding of core Mechanical Engineering subjects, perform basic hand calculations, and be eager to learn simulation tools and spacecraft practices.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Aeronautical engineering or equivalent.
• Solid foundational knowledge in mechanics, heat transfer, dynamics.
• Willingness to learn spacecraft design and simulations.

Responsabilités

• Support mechanical design and analysis of spacecraft structures and payloads.
• Perform basic structural calculations (stress, deflection, loads, factor of safety).
• Support finite-element modelling and structural simulations.
• Assist with thermal analysis of spacecraft components and assemblies.
• Understand conduction, radiation, thermal expansion, temperature gradients.
• Assist thermo-structural and thermo-elastic analyses.
• Support structural dynamics activities (modal analysis, natural frequencies, vibrations, launch loads).
• Work with materials used in spacecraft (Al, Ti, CFRP, honeycomb).
• Review results for physical reasonableness and prepare simple reports.

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern with strong engineering fundamentals and an interest in spacecraft design and analysis.

The intern will support mechanical engineering activities related to structures, thermal engineering, and structural dynamics for spacecraft and payload systems.

The role is suitable for someone who understands the basics well, can perform engineering calculations, and is willing to learn simulation tools and spacecraft-specific design practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Support mechanical design and analysis of spacecraft structures and payloads.
  
• Perform basic structural calculations for:
