United Foodbrands is seeking a Food Sourcing Manager to join the sourcing team and manage vendor relationships, sourcing activities, and category-level initiatives. Qualifications

• MBA is mandatory.
• 1-4 years of experience in Food Sourcing, Procurement, Vendor Management or Category Management.
• Experience working directly with vendors/suppliers preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good negotiation, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of sourcing processes.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage food suppliers and vendors.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential vendors.
• Support sourcing of food products balancing quality, cost, availability, and service levels.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial and payment terms and other vendor agreements.
• Conduct vendor benchmarking and market research for competitive sourcing opportunities.
• Coordinate with vendors for product availability, quality, specifications, and timely deliveries.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Category, Operations, Quality, Finance and Supply Chain.
• Monitor vendor performance and resolve sourcing-related issues.
• Analyze category performance, pricing, and market trends to identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Maintain sourcing data, vendor records, pricing information and documentation.
• Support new product/category launches and vendor expansion initiatives.
• Contribute to process improvements and scalable sourcing strategies.
• Take ownership of assigned categories and progressively handle larger responsibilities.

Candidate Profile

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of sourcing processes.
