We are looking for a strategic and result-oriented procurement professional to lead the Non-Food Procurement function. The role will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, driving cost optimization, ensuring timely procurement of indirect and operational materials, and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to support business growth. The ideal candidate should possess strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and experience in managing large procurement portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Procurement
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for non-food categories aligned with business objectives.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing, vendor consolidation, and contract negotiations.
- Build annual procurement plans and category strategies.
Commercial Negotiation & Contracting
- Lead commercial negotiations to secure the best value.
- Draft, negotiate, and manage supplier contracts and SLAs.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and governance standards.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with Operations, Store Development, Marketing, Finance, Facilities, HR, and other business teams to understand procurement requirements.
- Provide procurement support for new store launches, expansion projects, and corporate initiatives.
Inventory & Supply Planning
- Coordinate with planning and warehouse teams to ensure uninterrupted availability of non-food materials.
- Monitor procurement lead times and improve supply continuity.
Cost & Performance Management
- Track procurement KPIs including cost savings, vendor performance, purchase cycle time, and service levels.
- Prepare procurement MIS, dashboards, and management reports.
- Drive continuous process improvement and automation initiatives.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, audit requirements, and statutory regulations.
- Identify and mitigate supplier and supply chain risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related discipline.
- MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain, Operations, or Procurement preferred.
Experience
- 5- 7 years of experience in Procurement/Supply Chain, with at least 3–5 years managing Non-Food Procurement.
- Experience in Retail, QSR, FMCG, Food & Beverage, Hospitality, or E-commerce is highly preferred.
- Experience managing procurement budgets and multiple vendor partners.
