Job summary

RECRIVIO in Bengaluru is seeking a Sourcing & Category Manager to own end-to-end sourcing and category management for key product lines. You will work with suppliers, manufacturers, and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality products, competitive pricing, and a reliable supply chain.

The role suits someone who enjoys vendor negotiations, identifying sourcing opportunities, and building scalable procurement processes in a fast-growing D2C brand.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, category management, or vendor management.
• Experience in FMCG, food, grocery, D2C, retail, agriculture, or consumer products is preferred.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Good understanding of procurement processes and supply chain fundamentals.
• Comfortable working with data and making commercial decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

About the Role

As the Sourcing & Category Manager, you'll own the end-to-end sourcing and category management for key product categories. You'll work directly with suppliers, manufacturers, and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality products, competitive pricing, and a reliable supply chain.

What You’ll Do

• Own sourcing strategy across assigned product categories.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard manufacturers and suppliers across India.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, contracts, and payment conditions.
• Build strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, consistency, and timely deliveries.
• Analyze category performance, pricing trends, and market opportunities.
• Work closely with operations, quality, and product teams to manage inventory planning and demand forecasting.
• Monitor procurement costs and identify opportunities for margin improvement.
• Conduct regular supplier audits and performance reviews.
• Track commodity prices, industry trends, and competitor assortments to drive category growth.

What We’re Looking For

• 2–5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, category management, or vendor management.
• Experience in FMCG, food, grocery, D2C, retail, agriculture, or consumer products is preferred.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Good understanding of procurement processes and supply chain fundamentals.
• Comfortable working with data and making commercial decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience sourcing food products, agricultural commodities, spices, grains, edible oils, or dry fruits.
• Familiarity with supplier networks across India.
• Experience working with ERP systems or procurement tools is a plus.
• MBA or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Commerce, Business, or a related field.
