Job summary

Jobs Territory in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager - Electronics to lead sourcing and procurement for R&D and hardware teams. You will manage supplier development, RFQs, negotiations, BOM management, and ensure timely component availability with compliance to RoHS/REACH.

The role requires 5-8 years in electronics sourcing, strong knowledge of electronic components, ERP experience (SAP/Oracle), and excellent negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure electronic components, semiconductors, PCBs, connectors, sensors, ICs, passive components, and other hardware materials.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers.
• Handle RFQ, price negotiation, supplier selection, purchase planning, and contract management.
• Coordinate with R&D, Hardware, Engineering, Product Development, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to understand component requirements.
• Support prototype builds, NPI, and pre-production projects by ensuring timely component availability.
• Find alternate components during shortages or end-of-life situations.
• Build strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance, quality, delivery timelines, and cost.
• Handle risks related to component shortages, obsolete parts, single-source suppliers, and supply chain disruptions.
• Drive cost reduction, value engineering, and supplier optimization initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with RoHS, REACH, Conflict Minerals, and other industry standards.
• Work with ERP systems (SAP / Oracle) for procurement and supply chain activities.
• Manage BOM, ECN, inventory planning, and procurement documentation.
