Job summary

Unbox Robotics is looking for an experienced Electrical & Electronics Sourcing Engineer in Pune. This role focuses on strategic sourcing and vendor development for electronic components, ensuring supplier performance in quality and delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills and extensive knowledge of the electronics ecosystem.

Applicants should have 3–7 years in procurement and experience in robotics or electronics manufacturing is preferred.

Electrical & Electronics Sourcing Engineer – Supply Chain Management (SCM)

Location

Pune

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic sourcing and vendor development for electronic components and EMS partners
• Cost optimization, commercial negotiations, and supplier management
• Manage procurement of ICs, PCBs, power electronics, connectors, and related components
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams for sourcing activities
• Support NPI builds, prototype sourcing, and production ramp-up
• Ensure supplier performance on quality, cost, and delivery
• Maintain procurement documentation and ERP records

Must Have Skills

• Strong understanding of electronic components and EMS ecosystem
• Ability to read schematics, BOMs, and technical drawings
• Strong negotiation and commercial acumen
• Knowledge of global supply markets (China, Taiwan, India, EU, USA)
• ERP proficiency and procurement process understanding

Preferred Experience

• 3–7 years in electronics sourcing/procurement
• Experience in robotics, automation, or electronics manufacturing preferred
