Job Description (Sourcing Engineer - Electronics).

Sourcing & Procurements electronic components, managing supplier relationships and optimizing costs for products and projects,the responsibilities building supplier databases, negotiating prices and terms.It requires knowledge of costing methods, BOM management.

Key Responsibilities :

• Identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers for electronic components and parts, ensuring quality of RFQ, reliability, and timely delivery.
• Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
• Negotiating contracts pricing and ensuring supplier performance.
• Analyzing costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing cost reduction strategies.
• Conducting cost analysis and identifying opportunities to reduce BOM cost.
• Exploring alternative sourcing options to optimize cost and lead time reduce.
• Monitoring market trends & supplier pricing to ensure competitive sourcing.
• Preparing accurate cost estimates, including activity-based costing, and quoting.
• Monitoring inventory levels, optimizing stock and minimizing inventory holding costs.
• Preparing and issuing the Purchase orders for electronic components and ensure the on-time delivery.

Skills and Experience :

• Good knowledge of electronics components, manufacturing processes, and sourcing strategies.
• Qualification diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering(Electronics only).
• Good experience of EMS background minimum of 6–8 years.
• Good knowledge of cost negotiate effectively with suppliers on price, terms, and conditions.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good written and verbal communication skills for interacting with suppliers and internal teams.
