Job summary

DOOSAN BOBCAT INDIA is seeking a Deputy Manager - Electrical & Electronics Buyer to lead strategic sourcing and supplier management for E&E components used in compact construction equipment. The role focuses on cost reduction, localization, new product sourcing, and ensuring supply continuity across Backhoe Loaders, Skid Steer Loaders, and Mini Excavators.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in sourcing and supplier management of Electrical & Electronics parts, preferably in the construction equipment, off-highway vehicles, or heavy engineering sector.
• Proven success in achieving annual cost reduction and localization targets.
• Proven track record in supplier relationship management, cost reduction projects, and global sourcing.
• Excellent negotiation, project management, and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and supplier evaluation tools.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally for supplier audits and negotiations.

The Deputy Manager - Electrical & Electronics Buyer will be responsible for strategic sourcing, supplier management, cost reduction, localization, new product sourcing, and supply continuity of Electrical & Electronics (E&E) commodities for compact construction equipment including Backhoe Loaders, Skid Steer Loaders, and Mini Excavators.

The role requires strong expertise in sourcing electrical and electronic components, supplier negotiations, cost engineering, product development support, and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to achieve QCDDM (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Development, and Management) objectives.
