Job summary

Auditorium Works in India is seeking a skilled Sound & Lighting Operator to support architectural and events projects with high-quality AV. You will set up, operate, and maintain sound and lighting gear to deliver exceptional visuals and audio for diverse venues.

The role requires hands-on experience with audio and lighting systems, DMX protocols, and digital consoles, plus strong teamwork and the ability to work evenings or weekends as events demand.

Tasks
  • Operate and manage sound and lighting equipment for various events and performances, ensuring high-quality production standards.
  • Collaborate with event planners, directors, and other technical staff to design and execute lighting and sound plans that meet specific requirements and enhance the audience's experience.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of audio and lighting systems to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime during events.
  • Set up, test, and adjust sound and lighting equipment prior to events, making necessary calibrations and configurations for optimal performance.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and trends in sound and lighting to continually improve skills and suggest innovative solutions for upcoming projects.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in operating sound and lighting equipment in an architectural or event planning environment.
  • Strong understanding of audio and lighting control systems, including digital consoles and DMX lighting protocols.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively during live events to ensure minimal disruption.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with event planners, performers, and other technical staff.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate event schedules.
