Job summary

Sovos is seeking a Solution Consultant in Navi Mumbai to design, implement, and support system-to-system integrations between Sovos platform, client ERP, and third-party apps. This client-facing, integration-focused role places you as the technical owner of end-to-end implementations.

You will lead requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, go-live, and hypercare, collaborating with clients, partners, and internal teams to ensure successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent.
• 5+ years in enterprise system integration, client facing.
• Proficient in REST and SOAP API design and testing.
• Experience with ERP platforms incl. NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics.
• Strong English communication skills.

The Work You'll Do

At Sovos, we deliver enterprise-grade solutions that power global tax compliance for some of the world's largest organizations. As a Solution Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting system-to-system integrations between Sovos platform, client ERP & third-party applications.

This role is client-facing and integration-focused. You will act as the technical owner of implementation projects, leading requirement gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, go live and hypercare. Collaboration with clients, external integration partners and internal technical teams is key to ensuring seamless integration & successful project completion.

More Specifically, You Will

• Be the primary technical point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, providing technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle
• Collaborate with Client technical, functional & Sovos project teams, outlining and designing Sovos products to the project scope.
• Gather & analyse business and technical requirements from clients, translating them into effective solution and integration designs.
• Complete solution design and architecture documents which includes all configuration details and any other necessary information to support Client and Sovos implementations.
• Design and implement API-based integrations (REST/SOAP) between Sovos platforms and client ERP systems.
• Analyse the structure and definition of our customers integration data files and map their fields/data to Sovos internal data structure according to project scope.
• Validate data flows, mappings, and transformations between source and target systems to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Coordinate with client, internal teams and integration partners to ensure timely project delivery and resolve any issues that may arise by following internal escalation and procedures
• Ensure integrations adhere to security, compliance and performance standards as required by Sovos and its clients.
• Must be capable of leading fast-paced work sessions with internal and/or client’s teams to come up with solutions to solve project problems within Sovos products capabilities and project scope.
• Understanding the impact of individual task completion on the overall project schedule.
• Excellent understanding of Sovos product and capabilities.
• Provide training as necessary to clients in relation to Sovos Products.
• Identify and implement improvements to processes, documents, tools, reports, etc. to benefit and improve Sovos project team and new Client’s implementation processes.
• Perform SIT (System Integration Testing) & UAT (Users Acceptance Testing) according to Sovos products configurations and project implementation plan.

What We Need From You

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or similar.
• 5+ years of experience in system integration, or, enterprise application integration in customer facing role
• Knowledge of development languages, ability to read and understand code, to analyse rules/conditions and data mappings (C# or similar)
• Good understanding of ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
• Solid hands-on experience with REST and SOAP APIs, covering authentication, error handling, and retries.
• Experience in systems & data integration, data structure and data mappings with strong knowledge of system architecture, data flows and integration patterns.
• Experience with JSON, XML, and data mapping/transformation techniques.
• Experience in Electronic Invoicing, Billing, Systems Integration, Invoicing Systems (ERP) projects an added advantage.
• Excellent English communications skills (verbal and written)
• Strong critical thinking skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong time management, organizational and decision‑making skills.
