Job summary

Ericsson seeks an experienced Integration/Cloud Engineering specialist to deploy and integrate IT/Telco cloud platforms across global markets. The role involves developing solutions, implementing them on field deployments, and interacting with international project teams.

You will work on cloud deployments, scripting for automation, and participate in pre-sales activities while aligning with Ericsson's standards and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in CS or IT/Telecom.
• Minimum 3 years IT/Telco Cloud deployment experience.
• Familiar with Linux administration and shell scripting.
• Experience with Python and Java.
• Knowledge of OpenStack and virtualization (KVM/Xen/VMware).
• Strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Cloud related product deployment including installation, configuration, integration with other components, and data/service migration.
• Coding and scripting for automation, mainly Python and Shell.
• Support pre-sales activities, including pre-studies and solution analysis.
• Identify impacts of deployment requirements on products/solutions; conduct feasibility studies.
• Prepare and execute User Acceptance Test (UAT).
• Coordinate knowledge sharing and collaboration across teams.

What you will do

• Cloud related product deployment, include Software Installation, Configuration preparation, Integration with other component or product, Migration data and service. The product include but not limited to Ericsson Cloud Execution Environment, VMWare, Redhat OpenStack and KVM at Cloud.
• Coding and Scripting for automation tool or customer adaptions, mainly with Python and Shell
• Support pre-sales activities, including pre-studies and solution analysis.
• Identify possible impacts of specific deployment requirements on products & solutions. Feasibility studies
• Prepare and execute User Acceptance Test (UAT).
• Knowledge sharing and collaboration skills.

The skills you bring

• Education: Academic degree, minimum on Bachelor level, in Computer Science or Engineering (IT, Telecom).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience of IT/Telco Cloud system deployment and testing.
• Familiar with Linux administration (such as Redhat, CentOS, or Ubuntu) and Shell scripting. Experience on Linux related Development is a plus.
• Experienced on common Programing Languages like Python, Java.
• Good Knowledge in Cloud & Virtualization techniques and standards in the market.
• Domain experience: Cloud platform such as OpenStack, familiar with popular virtualization solutions such as KVM/Xen/VMWare is preferred.
• Creative thinking and generate innovative ideas during work.
• Troubleshooting skills and E2E technical understanding.
