Job summary

Ericsson is seeking an experienced Integration Engineer in India to deliver IT & Telco Cloud solutions. You will deploy cloud products, script for automation, and support pre-sales while collaborating with global teams across multiple markets.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in IT/Telco cloud deployment, strong Linux administration, and hands-on experience with Python, Java, and OpenStack. Join an international project team and contribute to innovative cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering (IT/ Telecom).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience of IT/Telco Cloud system deployment and testing.
• Familiar with Linux administration (Redhat, CentOS, or Ubuntu) and Shell scripting.
• Experience with Python and Java.
• Good knowledge of Cloud & Virtualization techniques and standards.
• Domain experience with OpenStack; familiar with KVM/Xen/VMware is preferred.
• Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative ideas.
• Troubleshooting skills and end-to-end technical understanding.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Analytical learning and researching skills.

Responsibilities

• Cloud deployment: installation, configuration, integration, data migration.

About this opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Integration Engineer who will join the global service team to deliver IT & Telco Cloud platform for wider implementation of both Ericsson solutions and 3PP’s like VMWare, RHOSP, AWS, etc. IT Cloud Engineer will focus on works with both creating solutions and implementing them in the field. He / She will be part of an international project team, and can expect to have interaction with a number of global markets.

What you will do

• Cloud related product deployment, include Software Installation, Configuration preparation, Integration with other component or product, Migration data and service. The product include but not limited to Ericsson Cloud Execution Environment, VMWare, Redhat OpenStack and KVM at Cloud.
• Coding and Scripting for automation tool or customer adaptions, mainly with Python and Shell
• Support pre-sales activities, including pre-studies and solution analysis.
• Identify possible impacts of specific deployment requirements on products & solutions. Feasibility studies
• Prepare and execute User Acceptance Test (UAT).
• Knowledge sharing and collaboration skills.

The skills you bring

• Education: Academic degree, minimum on Bachelor level, in Computer Science or Engineering (IT, Telecom).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience of IT/Telco Cloud system deployment and testing.
• Familiar with Linux administration (such as Redhat, CentOS, or Ubuntu) and Shell scripting. Experience on Linux related Development is a plus.
• Experienced on common Programing Languages like Python, Java.
• Good Knowledge in Cloud & Virtualization techniques and standards in the market.
• Domain experience: Cloud platform such as OpenStack, familiar with popular virtualization solutions such as KVM/Xen/VMWare is preferred.
• Creative thinking and generate innovative ideas during work.
• Troubleshooting skills and E2E technical understanding.
• Presentation skills.
• Good communication skills and team work spirit.
