Job summary

Ericsson Bengaluru seeks a seasoned Cloud NFVI/CNIS engineer to drive system integration, verification, and deployment of Ericsson CLOUD NFVI/CNIS solutions in Telco Core networks.

You will develop proficiency in ECCD, CCD, SDI, SDI3, CEE and participate in PoC projects across 5G, IoT, Edge NFVI, and Distributed Cloud domains while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cloud concepts and virtualization.
• Intermediate Linux/Unix proficiency.
• 5+ years IP networking experience with CISCO/Juniper/Easton switches.
• Kubernetes experience with CKA certification preferred.
• Exposure to NFVI/CNIS domain and Ericsson products.
• Experience in system installation, integration and verification.
• Scripting with Python/Ansible/Shell is a plus.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.
• Team-oriented with adaptability to cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to work per project time zones.

Responsibilities

• Perform system integration and verification of Ericsson CLOUD NFVI/CNIS solutions in Telco Core network.
• Develop proficiency in Ericsson NFVI/CNIS products (ECCD, CCD, SDI, SDI3, CEE) for deployment in customer networks.
• Contribute to PoC projects with Cloud PDU on 5G, IoT, Edge NFVI, and Distributed Cloud initiatives.
• Deliver cloud solution services including deployment, integration and upgrades of Ericsson Telco Cloud.

What you will do:

1. System Integration and Verification of Ericsson CLOUD NFVI/ CNIS solutions in Telco Core network.
2. Develop proficiency in Ericsson NFVI/ CNIS products — ECCD, CCD, SDI, SDI3, CEE to be able to deploy for customer networks.
3. Participate in PoC projects along with Cloud PDU in the emerging areas like 5G, IoT, Edge NFVI, Distributed Cloud etc.
4. Service delivery of cloud solution into deployment, integration and upgrade of E/// Telco Cloud.

The skills you bring:

1. Understanding of Cloud concepts/ Virtualization.
2. At least intermediate level proficiency in Unix/ Linux.
3. At least 5 years of IP Networking (integration skills) experience on CISCO, Juniper, Extreme. HP… switches
4. Kubernetes with CKA (linux foundation)
5. Exposure to NFVI / CNIS domain and capable to quickly ramp-up to Ericsson NFVI/ CNIS products.
6. Have experiences of system installation, Integration and verification with good investigation and trouble shooting skills
7. Python/ Ansible/ Shell scripting skills are added plus.
8. Good Inter-personal skills along with Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
9. Task oriented, self-driven & adaptability to work in cross functional teams.
10. Willingness to work as per project Time zone is a must.
