Job summary

Ericsson seeks an experienced Cloud Integration Engineer to join the global service team and deliver IT & Telco Cloud deployments, including Ericsson CEE, VMware, RHOSP, and KVM. You will work with Python, Shell, and Linux in a multinational project setting, contributing to automation, testing, and integration across markets.

You will interact with the team on design, troubleshooting, and UAT, while upholding Ericsson standards for security and privacy.

Qualifications

• Education: Academic degree, minimum on Bachelor level, in Computer Science or Engineering (IT, Telecom).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience of IT/Telco Cloud system deployment and testing.
• Familiar with Linux administration (such as Redhat, CentOS, or Ubuntu) and Shell scripting. Experience on Linux related Development is a plus.
• Experienced on common Programing Languages like Python, Java.
• Good Knowledge in Cloud & Virtualization techniques and standards in the market.
• Domain experience: Cloud platform such as OpenStack, familiar with popular virtualization solutions such as KVM/Xen/VMWare is preferred.
• Creative thinking and generate innovative ideas during work.
• Troubleshooting skills and E2E technical understanding.
• Presentation skills.
• Good communication skills and team work spirit.
• Analytical learning and researching skills.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, quality, estimate cost and time, and plan accompanying activities.
• Prepare, collect, and validate scripts and configurations to ensure accuracy.
• Develop and execute test cases to guarantee quality and efficiency of delivery.
• Conduct troubleshooting to diagnose and rectify issues, or elevate where necessary.
• Carry out integration and migration tasks in line with our process framework and contractual obligations.
• Ensure that Operating System (OS), Hardware (HW), Software (SW), licenses, and configuration data is up-to-date and in the correct format.

About this opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Integration Engineer who will join the global service team to deliver IT & Telco Cloud platform for wider implementation of both Ericsson solutions and 3PP’s like VMWare, RHOSP, AWS, etc. IT Cloud Engineer will focus on works with both creating solutions and implementing them in the field. He / She will be part of an international project team, and can expect to have interaction with a number of global markets.

What you will do:

• Cloud related product deployment, include Software Installation, Configuration preparation, Integration with other component or product, Migration data and service. The product include but not limited to Ericsson Cloud Execution Environment, VMWare, Redhat OpenStack and KVM at Cloud.
• Coding and Scripting for automation tool or customer adaptions, mainly with Python and Shell
• Support pre‑sales activities, including pre‑studies and solution analysis.
• Identify possible impacts of specific deployment requirements on products & solutions. Feasibility studies
• Prepare and execute User Acceptance Test (UAT).
• Knowledge sharing and collaboration skills.
