Job summary

Freudenberg is seeking an experienced software engineer to develop and maintain in-house systems within a global IT organization. You will design and implement applications using .NET Core, Angular, Azure, and Java, and contribute to architecture and deployment strategies.

You will document functional specifications and end-user guides, collaborate with business users and peers, and mentor teammates to promote clean code and best practices. Strong communication in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Develops and maintains in-house software system as a member of the global IT organisation
• Develop and maintain other new applications as required
• Develops and maintains Unit and Application tests to ensure consistent code quality
• Creates functional and technical design documents
• Defines and writes functional specifications and end user documentations
• Works with users to test new functions
• Owns complex development topics end-to-end, from requirements and design to deployment and support
• Designs secure, scalable solutions using .NET, Angular, Azure, JAVA and modern integration patterns
• Supports code reviews, standards and continuous improvement of development practices
• Collaborates with business users, product owners, architects and global IT teams
• Shares knowledge, supports peers and contributes to a constructive team culture
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

• Excellent skills in software development within .NET Core framework and solid understanding of database technologies, Azure cloud and DevOps.
• Expert level knowledge in Angular for front-end development.
• Good knowledge of RDBMS concepts, DB design and TSQL.
• Ability to understand and use UML
• Excellent skills in web-based software development using techniques like MVC, AJAX, REST.
• Experience with running applications on Azure cloud.
• Knowledge of agile scrum process of SDLC.
• Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, Entity Framework and Microsoft technologies
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing and application monitoring
• Able to mentor developers and promote clean code, reusable components and best practices
• Collaborative team player with strong communication, ownership and accountability
• Able to explain technical topics clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proactive mindset with focus on problem solving and continuous improvement
• Very good interpersonal skills with excellent customer service and "can do" mentality
• Process orientation and user satisfaction attitude
• Experience working within a multi-cultural environment
