Job summary

Freudenberg is seeking a senior analytics leader to mentor cross-functional teams and deliver end-to-end analytics solutions. You will define KPIs, lead data modelling and dashboard development, and ensure governance across the analytics program.

You will collaborate with global IT, business stakeholders, and project managers to align digital initiatives with enterprise standards while driving performance and capability development within the team.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant experience in analytics and digital solutions.
• Experience leading cross-functional analytics and digital solution teams.
• Strong experience with KPI definition, data modelling, dashboard development, and governance.
• Hands-on with Power BI and SAP analytics tools.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Leadership Responsibilities

• 1. People Management and Team Leadership Lead, coach, and support teams across Analytics, Citizen Development, Azure, IoT, and .NET by ensuring clear goals, balanced workloads, strong collaboration, and continuous capability development.
• 2. Analytics technical leadership Own and guide the technical implementation of Analytics solutions, including requirement analysis, KPI definition, data modelling, data extraction, transformation and loading, semantic layer design, dashboard/report development, performance optimization, testing, deployment readiness, and post-go-live support.
• 3. Delivery steering across digital solution teams Coordinate delivery priorities, dependencies, risks, timelines, and stakeholder expectations across multiple technology areas while ensuring predictable execution and measurable business outcomes.
• 4. Stakeholder and business alignment Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, global IT teams, project managers, product owners, and technical teams to translate business needs into feasible, scalable, and value-driven digital solutions.
• 5. Performance development and capability building Provide structured feedback, mentoring, onboarding support, skill development plans, and career guidance to strengthen both technical and behavioural capabilities within the team.

Delivery and governance

• Establish and enforce delivery governance across Analytics and digital solution teams, including quality reviews, documentation standards, solution validation, release readiness, risk tracking, and operational handover.
• Ensure that Analytics implementations are business-focused, technically sound, scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture, data governance, and platform standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Engineering (any discipline) with 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in leading people and managing multidisciplinary technical teams across Analytics, Citizen Development, Azure, IoT, .NET, or related digital technology areas.
• Strong hands-on experience in Analytics solution implementation, including data analysis, data modelling, dashboard/report development, data integration concepts, KPI definition, testing, performance improvement, and stakeholder sign-off.
• Technical expertise should include strong working knowledge of tools and platforms such as Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BW/4HANA or SAP BW, SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics.
• The candidate should be capable of designing and reviewing analytics architecture covering data source identification, data pipelines, data cleansing, calculation logic, security/authorization concepts, data refresh strategy, report performance, user adoption, and operational support model.
• Preferred exposure includes dashboard UX design, self-service analytics enablement, citizen development governance, Power Platform integration, IoT data visualization, cloud analytics patterns, and basic understanding of .NET or Azure-based application data flows.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage priorities, resolve conflicts, influence global stakeholders, guide technical discussions, and build a high-performing team culture.
