Job summary

Maveric is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design scalable, secure banking solutions across Digital, Payments, Lending, Mortgages, Core Banking, Financial Crime, and Regulatory Reporting. You will lead end-to-end technology design, incorporating AWS/Azure, microservices, API integration, and enterprise architecture.

Location: Bangalore or Chennai. Work mode: all days in-office with up to 5 days of WFH per month.

Qualifications

• 10 to 15 years of experience in architecture roles within banking/financial services.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• Expertise in Microservices, SOA, EDA, API integration.
• Strong DevOps, Agile delivery, and enterprise security knowledge.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end technology solutions aligned with business and enterprise architecture goals.
• Create and present High-Level Design (HLD) documents.
• Gather and analyze business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Define architecture patterns, standards, and best practices.
• Design cloud-based solutions using AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments.
• Architect API-led, SOA, Microservices, and Event-Driven solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams.
• Identify architecture risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Ensure scalability, security, resilience, and performance of solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout project delivery.

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect with strong expertise in Banking Domain, Cloud Technologies (AWS/Azure), Microservices, API Integration, and Enterprise Architecture. The candidate will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions for banking applications across Digital, Payments, Lending, Mortgages, Core Banking, Financial Crime, and Regulatory Reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end technology solutions aligned with business and enterprise architecture goals.

Required Skills

• Strong Solution Architecture experience in Banking or Financial Services.
• Hands-on knowledge of AWS and/or Azure Cloud.
• Experience with Microservices, SOA, Event-Driven Architecture (EDA), and API Integration.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and Agile delivery.
• Knowledge of Databases, Data Lakes, ETL, Streaming, and Analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Security and Operational Resilience concepts.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
