Job summary

Tekskills is seeking a Solution Architect (Level C9) for India with 10+ years in technology and 5+ years in architecture. The role emphasizes strong banking domain experience, cloud-native and microservice patterns, API design, and event-driven approaches across multiple platforms.

You'll define target architectures, evaluate end-to-end designs, and collaborate with diverse teams globally. TOGAF/ArchiMate familiarity and Basel III/PSD2/ISO 20022 exposure are advantageous for this leadership

Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall experience in technology and architecture roles.
• 5+ years in Solution and/or Enterprise Architecture.
• Strong Commercial Banking experience is a must-have.

Responsibilities

• Define target state architecture and high-level solution design across business, application, data, and technology layers.
• Provide cloud-native architecture, microservices, API design, event-driven architecture, and database guidance.
• Lead monolith-to-microservices migration initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders across functions and geographies.
• Evaluate solution options and deliver end-to-end designs aligned with enterprise strategy.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with TOGAF, ArchiMate or other architecture frameworks is a plus.
• Exposure to Basel III, PSD2, ISO 20022 regulatory frameworks is desirable.
• Domain: Commercial Banking with understanding of integrations to Payments and Core Banking platforms.

Key Responsibilities & Skills

• Define target state architecture and high-level solution design across business, application, data, and technology layers
• Strong expertise in Cloud-Native Architecture, Microservices, API Design, Event-Driven Architecture, and Database concepts
• Experience in monolith-to-microservices migration
• Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across functions, domains, and geographies
• Evaluate solution options and deliver end-to-end designs aligned with enterprise strategy
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Preferable: Knowledge of TOGAF, ArchiMate or other architecture frameworks
