Job summary

Eleusis Consulting is seeking a skilled professional to identify and develop Solar and Wind energy project opportunities in India. The role involves land/site identification, stakeholder engagement with landowners, corporates, developers, consultants and investors, and managing EDC activities from inception to handover.

You will coordinate with EB/DISCOM/ESCOM for connectivity, approvals, and government liaison, while building a strong project pipeline and tracking regulatory developments in

Qualifications

• Experience in Solar Power Projects or Wind Energy Projects.
• Experience in Renewable Energy Project Development.
• Experience with EB/DISCOM/ESCOM coordination.
• Land acquisition / land identification and grid connectivity knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new Solar and Wind energy project opportunities.
• Identify suitable land/project locations for Solar and Wind projects.
• Coordinate with EB/DISCOM/ESCOM for power connectivity and approvals.
• Liaise with landowners, developers, corporates, consultants and investors.
• Handle project development and EDC activities from start to handover.
• Prepare proposals, feasibility information and commercial presentations.
• Monitor policy developments and regulatory changes.
• Travel to project sites, government offices and client locations as required.

Job description

• Identify and develop new Solar and Wind Energy project opportunities.
• Identify suitable land/project locations for Solar and Wind projects.
• Build relationships with landowners, industrial customers, corporates, developers, consultants and investors.
• Handle project development and EDC activities from initial stage to project handover.
• Coordinate with EB/DISCOM/ESCOM for power connectivity, evacuation and other electricity-related approvals.
• Handle government and statutory liaison activities for renewable energy projects.
• Coordinate with relevant government departments for NOCs, permissions, approvals and clearances.
• Follow up with electricity authorities for grid connectivity, power evacuation, metering and related approvals.
• Coordinate with internal technical, engineering, legal, finance and project execution teams.
• Conduct preliminary assessment of land, grid connectivity, evacuation feasibility and project potential.
• Develop and maintain relationships with government authorities and other project stakeholders.
• Prepare project proposals, feasibility information and commercial presentations.
• Participate in negotiations with clients, landowners and project partners.
• Generate new leads and maintain a strong Solar/Wind project pipeline.
• Monitor renewable energy market developments, policies and regulatory changes.
• Track project approvals, timelines and pending activities and provide regular updates to management.
• Travel to project locations, government offices, EB/DISCOM offices and client locations as required.

• Good negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to independently follow up with government authorities and utilities.
• Strong networking skills within the renewable energy and power sector.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and government offices.
