Job summary

Vrinda International is seeking a dedicated Solar Installer to join the IT Services division, focusing on the design, installation, and commissioning of solar power systems—from rooftop setups to grid-connected projects.

The ideal candidate will have a solid electrical systems background and hands-on experience with site surveys, cable routing, SLDs, and net metering procedures to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient solar deployments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2.5 years in solar or electrical installation.
• Proficient in site surveys and accurate measurements.
• Strong knowledge of cable routing, HT/LT panels, transformers.
• Able to read SLDs and electrical drawings.
• Experience with net metering procedures and monitoring tools.
• Expertise in Solar PV and rooftop installation techniques.
• Capable of managing solar system commissioning from start to finish.

• Conduct comprehensive site surveys and precise measurements to determine optimal placement for solar equipment.
• Execute cable routing strategies that adhere to safety standards and project specifications.
• Perform installation and maintenance tasks involving HT and LT panels, as well as transformers.
• Interpret and apply SLDs and detailed electrical drawings to guide installation processes.
• Manage end-to-end net metering setup and integration for solar systems.
• Monitor system performance continuously to ensure optimal energy generation and identify issues.
• Oversee physical installation of Solar PV modules and rooftop solar configurations.
• Lead the final commissioning phase to ensure systems are operational and compliant.

• Monitor system performance continuously to ensure optimal energy generation and identify any operational issues.


• Oversee the physical installation of Solar PV modules and complete rooftop solar configurations.


• Lead the final commissioning phase of solar systems to ensure they are fully operational and compliant with regulations.

Requirements
