Job summary

INPRO in Pune is seeking a skilled QA Tester to perform functional, regression, retesting, sanity, and smoke testing on mobile and web applications.

You will design and maintain test cases and scripts, log defects in JIRA, and collaborate with developers, BAs, and product teams to ensure timely, high-quality releases. The role focuses on fintech BFSI workflows such as login, loans, and EMI calculations.

Qualifications

• STLC knowledge and end-to-end testing lifecycle
• Clear understanding of defect life cycle and logging defects in JIRA
• Smoke, Sanity, Regression, and Retesting testing concepts
• Experience with Stress, Load, and Volume Testing
• Excellent in writing test scenarios and test cases (e.g., login modules, forms, EMI calculations)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with Pivot Tables and EMI calculations
• Hands-on experience with mobile and web application testing
• Exposure to fintech products like loans or digital banking apps
• Excellent communication and analytical skills to report findings clearly

Responsibilities

• Validate business-critical workflows such as login, candidate application forms, loan application processes, and EMI calculations.
• Ensure quality and compliance with BFSI domain standards.

• Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Good understanding of defect/bug life cycle and ability to log detailed defects in JIRA.
• Clear understanding of Smoke Testing vs Sanity Testing.
• Experience in Regression Testing vs Retesting.
• Familiarity with Stress, Load, and Volume Testing.
• Excellent in writing test scenarios and test cases (e.g., login modules, candidate application forms, DOB fields, home loan workflows).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel – including Pivot Tables, EMI formula application, and reporting.
• Hands-on experience with mobile app testing and web application testing.
• Exposure to fintech products like loans, policy portals, or digital banking apps will be preferred.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills – ability to clearly report findings and suggest improvements.
