Job summary

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements to prepare comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, system, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools.
• Perform API testing using Postman to validate RESTful web services.
• Write and execute SQL queries in SQL Server to validate backend data and ensure data integrity.
• Review requirements and provide early feedback to improve product quality.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Prepare test execution reports, defect metrics, and quality status updates.
• Ensure testing activities are completed within project timelines while maintaining high-quality standards.
