Job summary

IIFL Finance is seeking a Software Test Engineer with experience in Mobile Application Testing, Mobile Automation, and Home Loan/BFSI domains. The role focuses on testing mobile apps, APIs, and databases in an Agile environment, with collaboration across developers, BAs, and product teams.

The ideal candidate will perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing, develop automation scripts using Appium or Maestro, and validate end-to-end Home Loan processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in mobile testing and automation.
• API testing and database validation background preferred.
• BFSI/home loan domain knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform API Testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Conduct Database Testing with SQL queries.

The candidate should have strong testing skills across mobile applications, APIs, and databases.

Role & responsibilities

• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, and UAT Testing.
• Test Android and iOS mobile applications.
• Develop and execute automation scripts using Appium/Maestro.
• Perform API Testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Conduct Database Testing and validate data using SQL queries.
• Log, track, and verify defects using JIRA.
• Validate end-to-end Home Loan business processes and customer journeys.
• Collaborate with Developers, BAs, and Product teams in an Agile environment.

Preferred candidate profile

• 24 years experience (Maximum 5 years)
• Mobile Testing Experience
• Mobile Automation Experience
• SQL/Database Testing Knowledge
• Home Loan/BFSI Domain Expertise
• Work From Office at Thane (Wagle Estate)

Note: Candidates having Mobile Testing, Automation Testing, SQL Database Validation, and Home Loan domain experience will be highly preferred.
