Responsibilities

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Engineering degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, with 3–4 years of professional experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Understand and apply software testing fundamentals, SDLC, and STLC processes.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Rest Assured with Java.
• Perform web service/API testing to validate RESTful services.
• Execute database testing and write SQL queries to validate data integrity and backend processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA for task tracking and defect management.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines and contribute to automation integration in the build and deployment process.
• Analyze test results, identify bugs, and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Contribute to test planning, test case design, and test execution for functional and regression testing.
• Maintain documentation related to test cases, test results, and quality metrics.

Nice to Have

• Basic understanding of performance, security, and chaos testing (Non-Functional Requirements).
• Familiarity with AWS services and infrastructure concepts.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and cloud-based testing environments.
