Job summary

Endpoint Clinical is seeking a Test Engineer to join our Hyderabad team. You will own test activities across the lifecycle, automate web tests with Playwright, and ensure robust validation with detailed reports.

Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to drive quality. Candidates should have 2–6 years in software testing, experience with manual and automated approaches, and strong SQL skills.

Qualifications

• 2-6 years in software testing/QA.
• Experience with manual and automated testing.
• Familiarity with Java or C# is a plus.
• Experience with web applications.
• Experience with IRT/RTSM.
• Hands-on with testing tools like Selenium, Playwright, Postman, or JMeter.
• Good knowledge of SQL and databases.
• Self-motivated and proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Test lifecycle from planning to verification.
• Track and report defects and verify fixes.

Job description

• Responsible for testing through the entire lifecycle of a project, including test case development, execution and verification.
• Tracking and reporting software defects, along with verifying resolved issues in ticket tracking application.
• Support validation efforts by acquiring evidence during testing phase, as well as generating validation reports at cycle end.
• Proactively works to understand the major components of the product through training and client assignments.
• Strong in database queries, Stored Procedures and View testing
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for web applications.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to define quality requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Contribute to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enable automatic test execution.
• Utilizes in-depth product knowledge to anticipate client needs and address complex issues.
• Provides guidance and sets priorities for the Test Engineer on project.
• Displays commitment to excellence.

Required Skills
