We are seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer to lead and execute software testing activities across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in manual and automation testing, a solid understanding of the SDLC/STLC, and the ability to ensure high-quality software delivery through systematic testing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to identify defects and ensure quality.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium with java, TestNG, Cypress, playwright with python.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, smok, sanity, load and UAT testing.
- Conduct API testing with Postman,Jmeter.
- Track and manage defects using tools such as JIRA,QA Touch,MantisBT,Bugzilla.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and resolve issues.
- Contribute to the enhancement of testing processes, tools, and standards.
- Mentor junior test engineers and provide guidance on testing best practices.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum/waterfall methodologies and ensure timely and quality releases.
- Conduct customer presentations/demonstrations and actively participate in client communications, including business discussions, requirement analysis, and testing strategy formulation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 0-1 years of experience in software testing (manual and/or automation).
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, SDLC, and defect life cycle.
- Experience with Selenium WebDriver, and test management tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong quality mindset.
- Leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Excellent oral/written communication (English/Hindi/ marathi) and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
