Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Strong QA knowledge across UI/UX and testing types.
• Experience with open-source automation tools.
• Ability to execute automation scripts and train team.
• Expertise in testing techniques and review processes.
• Experience with REST/SOAP API testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/DevOps/CD environments.
• ISTQB Advanced Level Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Testing all aspects of the product/system including function/component, system, performance, regression, and service.
• Setting up test environments, designing test plans, developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing these cases.
• Creating, assigning, and tracking the project/module work plans for delivery and providing technical guidance for work completion.
• Planning work schedules for on‑time delivery as per defined quality standards.
• Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures based on root‑cause analysis.
• Ensuring process improvements and compliance in the assigned module and participating in technical discussions or reviews.
• Partnering with the automation team to develop strategy, effort, and generate scripts for automated testing.
• Leading the QA team to design and create test conditions, test data, and test automation scripts to address business and technical use cases.
• Gaining experience in functional, regression, integration, user acceptance, and performance testing phases.
• Defining metrics, creating reports, and developing statistics for organizational reporting and monitoring of quality processes within the QA department.
• Analyzing existing QA quality processes and developing new or revised quality standards as needed.
• Managing teams with integrity, ethical business practices, and in accordance with company policies, procedures, and practices.
• Making suggestions and recommendations for employees regarding performance, including hiring, transfer, advancement, and termination.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
• Good understanding and business knowledge in QA areas of what business users will experience – UI/UX.
• Ability to use a wide variety of open‑source automation technologies and tools.
• Ability to execute automation scripts and train team members as required.
• Expertise in testing techniques and the review process.
• Knowledge of Python, VB Script, C, and Java.
• Exposure to automation testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, BDD, pytest, QTP, Robot Framework, and JMeter.
• Experience testing REST/SOAP APIs.
• Understanding of test architecture and design.
• Exposure to Agile, DevOps, and Continuous Delivery environments with hands‑on DevOps QA implementation.
• ISTQB Advanced Level Certification is a plus.
