Job summary

Jobtailor in Bengaluru, India seeks a skilled QA Automation Engineer to design and execute robust test plans across automated and manual testing. You will collaborate with AI, development, and product teams to set quality standards and test strategies, and you’ll implement CI/CD pipelines with automated tests in AWS/Azure cloud environments.

You will apply TDD/BDD practices, lead integration testing of APIs and microservices, and perform security testing.

Qualifications

• Hands-on testing in cloud/hybrid environments (AWS/Azure).

Job description

• Implement, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines with automated testing frameworks
• Work with developers to apply TDD/BDD testing methodologies in cloud/hybrid environments
• Lead integration testing across AWS and Azure, APIs, and microservices
• Perform security testing for vulnerability fixes
• Improve automated test coverage
• Independently manage and resolve escalated or complex testing cases
• Provide detailed analysis, feedback, and accurate reporting of results
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, code reviews, and retrospectives
• Monitor, document, and report test results, defects, and quality metrics using Azure DevOps or JIRA
• Mentor and support junior QA engineers
• Work with cross-functional teams including AI/ML engineers, cloud architects, and product managers in Agile Scrum or Kanban environments

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in automation and testing applications written in Java/.NET languages
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure, including testing cloud-native applications
• Solid understanding of AI/ML systems, data pipelines, and model validation techniques
• Expertise in test automation tools such as Selenium, NUnit, xUnit, Playwright, TestNG/Cucumber
• Experience with API testing using Postman, Testfully, or REST Assured
• Experience with accessibility and browser compatibility testing
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Azure Pipelines, and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in SQL for complex queries, joins, and stored procedures
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience in AI model testing, bias detection, and explainability validation
• Certifications in AWS/Azure, ISTQB, or equivalent
• Experience with Jenkins and Maven
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
