Job summary

Automationedge in Pune, India, is seeking an experienced Software Project Manager to plan, execute, and deliver software projects. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

You will work with stakeholders across functions, manage Agile/Scrum ceremonies, and drive improvements in delivery processes to meet quality and schedule targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or MBA in IT/PM).
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage software projects from initiation through delivery and postproduction support.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and success criteria.
• Create and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, RAID logs, and status reports.
• Coordinate developers, QA, UI/UX, DevOps, business analysts, and stakeholders.
• Manage Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Track progress, dependencies, risks, issues, and resource utilization.
• Identify delivery risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams, business stakeholders, clients, and leadership.
• Ensure releases meet requirements, quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
• Monitor KPIs and provide updates to senior management.
• Drive continuous improvement in project processes and delivery practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage software projects from initiation through delivery and postproduction support.

• Coordinate developers, QA engineers, UI/UX designers, DevOps, business analysts, and other stakeholders.

• Identify potential delivery risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
• Manage scope changes and ensure appropriate impact assessment and approvals.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams, business stakeholders, clients, and leadership.
• Ensure software releases meet agreed requirements, quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
• Monitor project KPIs and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Drive continuous improvement in project processes and delivery practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field. OR MBA in IT/Project Management
