Job summary

HARMAN Automotive in Bengaluru seeks a Validation Engineer to perform system-level and end-to-end testing of automotive software and connected vehicle features. You will develop test strategies, drive test automation (Selenium, Appium) and validate CANoe based workflows, OTA and cybersecurity aspects.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will maintain requirements traceability, ensure ASPICE SYS.2 compliance and support high-quality releases.

Qualifications

• System-level and end-to-end validation experience.
• Proficient in test strategy and test case design.
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium and Appium.
• Familiarity with CANoe and automotive testing tools.
• Experience with HIL/SIL validation and OTA & cybersecurity validation.
• Strong defect tracking and root cause analysis skills.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Validation Engineer to perform system-level and end-to-end testing of automotive software and connected vehicle features. The role involves test strategy development, test automation, HIL/SIL validation, CAN communication testing, OTA and cybersecurity validation, and defect analysis to ensure high-quality software releases.

What You Will Do:

• Author and manage PRD, IRS, SRS, and TRS requirements for product development.
• Decompose and structure requirements, ensuring complete traceability from requirements to testing.
• Maintain requirement baselines, change management, and release mapping using DOORS, Polarion, Jama, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review, analyze, and implement requirements.
• Ensure compliance with ASPICE SYS.2, quality standards, and engineering governance processes.
