Job summary

HARMAN Automotive in Bengaluru seeks a Validation Engineer to lead system-level and end-to-end testing of automotive software and connected features. You will define test strategy, build test cases, and drive validation across HIL/SIL, CAN, OTA, and cybersecurity domains.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure traceability from requirements to verification, maintain baselines in DOORS/Jama/Polarion, and uphold ASPICE SYS.2 quality governance while delivering robust software releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with system-level and end-to-end validation.

Responsibilities

• Author and manage PRD, IRS, SRS, and TRS requirements for product development.
• Decompose and structure requirements, ensuring complete traceability from requirements to testing.
• Maintain requirement baselines, change management, and release mapping using DOORS, Polarion, Jama.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review, analyze, and implement requirements.
• Ensure compliance with ASPICE SYS.2, quality standards, and engineering governance processes.

About the Role

We are looking for a Validation Engineer to perform system-level and end-to-end testing of automotive software and connected vehicle features. The role involves test strategy development, test automation, HIL/SIL validation, CAN communication testing, OTA and cybersecurity validation, and defect analysis to ensure high-quality software releases.
