Job summary

HARMAN is seeking a Validation Engineer in Bengaluru to lead system-level and end-to-end validation of automotive software and connected vehicle features. You will shape test strategy, build test automation, and drive CAN communication, OTA, and cybersecurity validation with cross-functional teams.

Role requires strong traceability from requirements to testing, experience with DOORS/Polarion/Jama, and adherence to ASPICE SYS.2 standards.

Qualifications

• System-level & E2E validation experience.
• Test strategy development and test case design.
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium and Appium.
• Knowledge of CANoe and automotive tools.
• HIL/SIL testing experience.
• OTA and cybersecurity validation experience.
• Defect tracking and root-cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Author and manage PRD, IRS, SRS, and TRS requirements for product development.
• Decompose and structure requirements with traceability from requirements to testing.
• Maintain requirement baselines, change management, and release mapping using DOORS, Polarion, Jama, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review, analyze, and implement requirements.
• Ensure compliance with ASPICE SYS.2 and engineering governance processes.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Validation Engineer to perform system-level and end-to-end testing of automotive software and connected vehicle features. The role involves test strategy development, test automation, HIL/SIL validation, CAN communication testing, OTA and cybersecurity validation, and defect analysis to ensure high-quality software releases.

What You Will Do:
