Job summary

ISS STOXX is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer for our Mumbai, India team. You will build scalable backend services and user interfaces, contribute to an agile team, and work on a large-scale web application in the financial sector.

You will engage in requirements analysis, system and UI design, estimation, development, testing, release management and production support within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Java in a production environment.
• 1+ years of experience building rich user interfaces using React, Angular, VueJS, or JSF.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience building highly scalable, concurrent systems.
• Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Solid understanding of design patterns and reusable libraries.

• Proficiency in HTML5 , CSS3 , and SASS/SCSS.

• Experience with GCP , AWS , or Azure.

• Familiarity with Jenkins , Git , or GitHub.

• Knowledge of JUnit , Selenium , or related frameworks.

• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Understanding of OWASP best practices and secure coding techniques.

• Experience with JVM tuning.
