Job summary

ISS STOXX in Mumbai is hiring a Java Full Stack Software Engineer to build modules of our data framework, working on front-end and back-end components with Java and basics in Python, TypeScript and SQL.

You will contribute to new applications, enhance existing ones, and experiment with new technologies, collaborating across teams in a fast-paced environment. This role offers opportunities to influence technical decisions and grow within a global financial services firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience as a Software Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Java
• Basic knowledge of Python, TypeScript and SQL

Responsibilities

• Develop new modules for the data framework, and work on both front-end and back-end components.
• Ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end workstreams.
• Collaborate with team members, review code, and participate in design decisions to influence technical directions.

ISS STOXX is hiring for Java Full Stack Software Engineer our Mumbai office.

Overview

The candidate will be focused on building out modules of our next generation Data framework. The candidate will work on both front-end and back-end components, driving the development process and ensuring seamless integration between them. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in Java and basic knowledge of Python, Typescript and SQL. Work profile will include but not limited to developing new applications and features, enhancements to existing applications, development of application/data frameworks, technology upgrades and new technology experiments.

Responsibilities

• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and collaborative development workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence technical decisions.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.

Qualifications
