Job summary

GSS Tech Group is seeking an experienced Software Engineer – Test Automation with at least 5 years of hands-on automation testing experience. The role concentrates on test automation, emphasizing Playwright and TypeScript, with exposure to Node.js and React.js applications.

You will design, develop, and maintain automated tests, perform end-to-end and regression testing, and integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines while adhering to banking sector standards and Agile practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Test Automation Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript (mandatory).
• Experience testing applications built on Node.js and React.js.
• Mandatory banking domain expertise.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript.
• Perform end-to-end, functional, and regression automation testing.
• Work closely with development and product teams to understand requirements and testing needs.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage for applications developed using Node.js and React.js.
• Identify, document, track, and validate defects across the testing lifecycle.
