Siemens EDA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the QuestaSim R&D team. You will architect and implement cutting-edge AI/ML features for design and verification tools, solving complex simulation challenges in a fast-paced environment and taking ownership from concept to delivery.

Collaborating with engineering leaders, product management, and domain experts, you will build scalable AI platforms using LLMs, Agentic frameworks, and vector databases, and deliver production-grade solutions

Qualifications

• 8+ years of proven software engineering experience with 5+ years in AI/ML focused development.
• Expertise delivering enterprise-scale AI/ML solutions from concept to production.
• Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn.
• Deep knowledge of LLM-based systems, Agentic AI frameworks, RAG, and vector databases.
• Experience developing AI agents or copilots that interface with tools or APIs.
• Solid foundations in algorithms, data structures and API design.

Responsabilités

• Design AI/ML and Agentic AI solutions for design and verification tools, establishing architecture patterns for enterprise deployments.
• Build scalable AI platforms leveraging LLMs, agentic frameworks, MCP, LangGraph, vector DBs, and RAG tech.
• Develop intelligent agents capable of tool usage, workflow automation, reasoning, planning, and autonomous execution.
• Evaluate and select AI technologies and infrastructure to meet product objectives.
• Architect end-to-end AI systems including data pipelines, model serving, observability, memory management, and deployment.
• Collaborate with engineering leaders, product management, and domain experts to ship production-grade solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI/ML and Agentic AI solutions in design and verification tools, establishing architecture patterns and best practices for enterprise‑scale deployments
• Build scalable AI platforms leveraging LLMs, Agentic Frameworks, MCP, LangGraph, vector databases, and retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) technologies
• Develop intelligent agents capable of tool usage, workflow automation, reasoning, planning, and autonomous task execution
• Evaluate and select AI technologies, models, frameworks, and infrastructure to meet product and business objectives
• Architect end-to-end AI systems including data pipelines, model serving, observability, memory management, and deployment strategies
• Collaborate with engineering leaders, product management, and domain experts to transform ideas into production‑grade solutions

Qualifications

Required:

• 8+ years of proven industry software engineering experience with at least 5 year in AI/ML focused development
• Demonstrated expertise architecting and delivering enterprise‑scale AI/ML solutions from concept to production
• Strong proficiency in Python and hands‑on experience with AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit‑learn
• Deep knowledge of LLM‑based systems, Agentic AI frameworks, RAG architectures, and vector databases
• Practical experience developing AI agents or copilots that interface with tools or external APIs
• Solid understanding of agentic design patterns and strong foundations in algorithms, data structures, and API design

Preferred:

• Experience with code understanding systems, AST analysis, or developer productivity tools
• Proficiency in C/C++
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD practices
• Background in Digital Design, SystemVerilog, or EDA tools
• Knowledge of compilers, parallelism, or GPU profiling tools
