Siemens EDA in India is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in the QuestaSim R&D team to drive innovation in simulation through AI/ML. You will architect and deliver cutting‑edge algorithms powering industry‑leading tools, collaborating with experienced engineers across design, verification, and product teams.

The role requires deep AI/ML expertise, strong Python skills, and a track record of shipping enterprise AI solutions. Hybrid work and a global, fast‑paced environment are offered.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of proven industry software engineering experience with at least 5 year in AI/ML focused development.
• Expertise architecting and delivering enterprise‑scale AI/ML solutions from concept to production.
• Strong proficiency in Python and hands‑on experience with AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit‑learn.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement AI/ML and Agentic AI solutions in design and verification tools.
• Build scalable AI platforms leveraging LLMs, Agentic Frameworks, MCP, LangGraph, vector databases and RAG.
• Develop intelligent agents capable of tool usage, workflow automation, reasoning, planning, and autonomous task execution.
• Evaluate and select AI technologies, models, frameworks, and infrastructure to meet product objectives.
• Architect end‑to‑end AI systems including data pipelines, model serving, observability, memory management, and deployment strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI/ML and Agentic AI solutions in design and verification tools, establishing architecture patterns and best practices for enterprise‑scale deployments
• Build scalable AI platforms leveraging LLMs, Agentic Frameworks, MCP, LangGraph, vector databases, and retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) technologies
• Develop intelligent agents capable of tool usage, workflow automation, reasoning, planning, and autonomous task execution
• Evaluate and select AI technologies, models, frameworks, and infrastructure to meet product and business objectives
• Architect end-to-end AI systems including data pipelines, model serving, observability, memory management, and deployment strategies
• Collaborate with engineering leaders, product management, and domain experts to transform ideas into production‑grade solutions

Qualifications

Required:

• 8+ years of proven industry software engineering experience with at least 5 year in AI/ML focused development
• Demonstrated expertise architecting and delivering enterprise‑scale AI/ML solutions from concept to production
• Strong proficiency in Python and hands‑on experience with AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit‑learn
• Deep knowledge of LLM‑based systems, Agentic AI frameworks, RAG architectures, and vector databases
• Practical experience developing AI agents or copilots that interface with tools or external APIs
• Solid understanding of agentic design patterns and strong foundations in algorithms, data structures, and API design

Preferred:

• Experience with code understanding systems, AST analysis, or developer productivity tools
• Proficiency in C/C++
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD practices
• Background in Digital Design, SystemVerilog, or EDA tools
• Knowledge of compilers, parallelism, or GPU profiling tools
