Job summary

Siemens EDA (INDIA) PRIVATE LIMITED, Noida, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to architect and deliver AI/ML driven simulation solutions. You will lead design and implementation across AI agents, RAG pipelines, and scalable platforms in a fast-paced R&D environment.

You will collaborate with product and domain experts to push production-grade AI capabilities, including tool integration, data pipelines, and model serving, while maintaining memory and deployment optimization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of proven industry software engineering experience with at least 5 year in AI/ML focused development.
• Demonstrated expertise architecting and delivering enterprise-scale AI/ML solutions from concept to production.
• Strong proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI/ML and Agentic AI solutions in design and verification tools, establishing architecture patterns and best practices for enterprise-scale deployments.
• Build scalable AI platforms leveraging LLMs, Agentic Frameworks, MCP, LangGraph, vector databases, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) technologies.
• Develop intelligent agents capable of tool usage, workflow automation, reasoning, planning, and autonomous task execution.
• Evaluate and select AI technologies, models, frameworks, and infrastructure to meet product and business objectives.
• Architect end-to-end AI systems including data pipelines, model serving, observability, memory management, and deployment strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering leaders, product management, and domain experts to transform ideas into production-grade solutions.

Position Overview

Join the QuestaSim (Simulation) R&D team at Siemens EDA as a Senior Software Engineer and drive innovation in simulation technology. In this role, youll architect and develop cutting-edge algorithms and software solutions that power industry-leading simulation tools. Working alongside experienced engineers, youll solve complex technical challenges in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of strategic initiatives from conception through delivery. Your technical expertise, problem-solving acumen, and leadership will directly shape the future of electronic design automation.

Key Responsibilities

Required:

• Practical experience developing AI agents or copilots that interface with tools or external APIs
• Solid understanding of agentic design patterns and strong foundations in algorithms, data structures, and API design

Preferred:

• Experience with code understanding systems, AST analysis, or developer productivity tools
• Proficiency in C/C++
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD practices
• Background in Digital Design, SystemVerilog, or EDA tools
• Knowledge of compilers, parallelism, or GPU profiling tools
