Job summary

EPAM Systems is hiring a Software Engineer with strong Java and DS&A skills for Hyderabad. You will join an engineering team delivering scalable, high‑performance applications and APIs.

Responsibilities include debugging, automation, and CI/CD, while adhering to security and regulatory standards. The role requires 4–6 years of experience, a STEM degree, and hands-on work with Spring Boot, Maven, Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of experience in software development, testing, and implementation.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8, Data Structures & Algorithms, and Microservices architecture.
• Solid experience with REST APIs, JSON, and Kafka.
• Familiarity with RDBMS and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Redis, and PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Maven, and GIT; knowledge of Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and Gradle/Maven build tools.
• Proven ability to build scalable, low-latency applications using multi-threaded, asynchronous, and reactive programming.
• Experience deploying containerized apps to cloud platforms using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Strong understanding of Design Patterns, System Design, and Problem-Solving techniques.
