Job summary

EPAM Systems in India (Kerala) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer/Software Engineer with strong Java and Spring Boot expertise. You will drive end-to-end software delivery, guide a technical team, and collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile setting to deliver high-quality releases.

You will contribute to feature development, integration tasks, and cloud deployments using AWS/Azure, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines, while maintaining focus on quality and customer success.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software development, testing and implementation experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/Engineering/IS or related STEM field.
• Proficiency in Java and SQL with Spring Boot and microservices deployment.
• Familiar with GitHub Actions and CI/CD practices to support frequent releases.
• English proficiency at upper-intermediate level (B2) or higher.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop new features for software applications.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Clients, and PMs to translate requirements into tasks.
• Ensure project stability by resolving technical challenges and keeping customer satisfaction high.
• Drive development within an Agile methodology for timely, iterative delivery.
• Own end-to-end delivery while guiding a technical team.
