EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to deliver Java full-stack solutions with Angular, building reliable products on modern engineering practices.

You will develop microservices-based systems, connect front-end and back-end layers, and raise technical standards across the lifecycle. Responsibilities include developing full-stack apps with Java 8, Spring Boot, and Angular, building REST APIs, and ensuring scalable, quality software with CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of software engineering experience with modern development practices.
• Hands-on 4+ years of Java development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8, Spring, and Spring Boot for back-end services.
• Deep expertise in Angular and UI technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
• Working understanding of REST APIs and databases (PostgreSQL/Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Develop and support full-stack applications using Java 8, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Build, validate, and release microservices and REST APIs for scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture requirements and deliver solutions.
• Implement responsive front-end components with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment.
• Troubleshoot issues across development and production environments.
• Uphold software quality with automated testing (JUnit).
