Job summary

EPAM Systems in India seeks a seasoned Lead Software Engineer to own end-to-end delivery of software solutions and guide a technical team across the stack. You will lead the design, development, and delivery of enhancements for customer-facing applications on a cloud-based infrastructure.

You will drive a high release cadence using GitHub Actions CI/CD, collaborate with the Enhancement Architect on design alignment and risk, and mentor engineers across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in CS, engineering, information systems or related STEM field.
• 10+ years of software development, testing and implementation experience.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience.
• Proficiency in Java and SQL; strong knowledge of Spring Boot and microservices.
• Experience with GitHub Actions CI/CD and high-release cadence (20+ releases/month).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of software solutions and mentor the tech team.
• Design, develop, and deliver enhancements for customer-facing applications.
