Mitratech, Inc. in India seeks an experienced QA engineer to drive manual and automated testing across our software suite. You will implement Playwright-based tests, validate data with SQL, and collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure robust releases.

The role requires strong communication, ownership, and hands-on experience with CI/CD, API testing, and non-functional testing. You will mentor peers and contribute to a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance (QA) — both manual and automated testing.
• Expertise with automation tools and languages: Playwright, TypeScript preferred.
• Experience using AI-powered development tools to accelerate test creation and analysis.
• Command of SQL for data verification.
• Exposure to API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured).
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD; ADO pipeline knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with non-functional testing (performance, security, accessibility).
• Demonstrated ownership and initiative from problem identification to resolution.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; familiar with Agile/Scrum and TestRail.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance - both manual and automated testing.
• Expertise with automation tools and languages: Playwright, Typescript preferred
• Experience in leveraging AI-powered development tools (e.g. Claude, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate test creation and analysis.
• Command of SQL and ability to apply that knowledge for data verification.
• Exposure to API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
• Proficiency with modern source control (Git) and CI/CD practices ; ADO pipeline knowledge is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in non-functional testing (performance, security, accessibility) is advantageous.

• Demonstrated sense of ownership , taking initiative from problem identification through resolution.

Communication & Process

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills , with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts and strategic vision to diverse internal stakeholders.
• Proactive in identifying and communicating potential roadblocks, risks, and dependencies to senior leadership and relevant parties.
• Deep familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies and proficiency with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail).
• You will utilize latest versions of our technology stack and be encouraged to think creatively in order to produce effective testing solutions.
• You will produce quality, reusable and maintainable automated test code that reduces the need for manual test efforts throughout our development cycles.
• You will perform manual and exploratory testing against functionality developed by members of your Agile team.
• You will work closely with the product manager and scrum team to help deliver high quality features inside of agreed timeframes.
• You will provide technical mentorship and upskilling to scrum team members and across functional boundaries where appropriate.
• You will consistently challenge Acceptance Criteria and Test Coverage.
• You will contribute to a culture of high quality, personal ownership and customer-focused execution.
