Job summary

Cadence in India seeks a growth-focused verification engineer to join our design verification team. You will work on IP/VIP and SoC level verification using UVM and embedded C, with exposure to PCIe, UCIe, CXL, and Ethernet protocols.

You should be strong in C/C++ and scripting, and capable of fast, independent ramp‑up on new technologies. The role emphasizes collaboration across geographies, strong communication, and analytical thinking as you contribute to cutting‑edge semiconductor software

Qualifications

• Proficient in C and C++ programming with scripting knowledge.
• Experience with IP/VIP and SoC level verification environments (UVM).
• Familiarity with PCIe, UCIe, CXL, UAlink, Ethernet protocols.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; quick ramp-up on new tech.

Job Description

• Proficient in C, C++ programming and scripting languages.
• Knowledge of protocols such as UCIe, PCIe, CXL, UAlink, Ethernet etc.
• Background in developing IP/VIP, Sub-system, SoC level verification environment with both UVM and SW-driven (embedded c).
• Strong interest and understanding of design and verification methodologies.
• Should possess strong analytical and communication skills.
• The position requires the ability to ramp up on new technologies quickly and independently.

Education

M. Tech/M.E. or BE/BTech in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience.
