Job summary

Interactive Brokers Group, a global financial services company, is seeking a self-driven Software Developer for the Tools Engineering team in Mumbai. You will design and develop Python-based automation solutions, troubleshoot Linux trading systems, and collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality software on timelines.

Required are 3+ years in finance, strong Python, FIX protocol knowledge, Pytest experience, and a solid foundation in Linux and Git.

Qualifications

• Overall 3+ years of Experience in Financial Industry specifically in Front Office Trading is a MUST.
• 3+ years of experience with Python programming language is a MUST.
• Must have a deep understanding of FIX protocol.
• Strong domain knowledge of Financial Asset Classes like Stocks, Options, Market Data Concepts, FIX Connectivity
• Subject Matter Expert in building Efficient and Scalable Automation Frameworks using Pytest
• Good understanding of Linux Operating System.
• Good understanding of GIT version control System.

About Tools Engineering Team:

Current Tools Engineering team has provided various World Class Tools across the firm(Developers, Quality Engineers and Traders) help solve their productivity issues and provide easy solutions to build environments at the runtime. The Tools Engineering team also provides Automated Testing Framework allowing End Users(Devs/QA) to write Functional, Integration Test Cases using Simple scripts. Mocking/Stubbing various input and outputs to Interactive Broker's front office trading systems when required.

Required Qualifications:

• Overall 3+ years of Experience in Financial Industry specifically in Front Office Trading is a MUST.
