Interactive Brokers in Mumbai is expanding its API support team to assist clients building and troubleshooting applications that connect through IBKR APIs. The role involves guiding users, creating reference implementations, and developing internal tools and documentation to improve client experience.

The ideal candidate will have strong Java and Python skills, plus exposure to REST APIs, Git, and Linux, with excellent English communication and a proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 1+ years of coursework and/or professional experience programming in Java and Python; familiarity with C# and C++ is a plus.
• Proficiency with Linux Terminal and Windows command line tools.
• Working knowledge of Git workflows.
• Strong understanding of REST API architecture.
• Excellent written communication skills for handling client inquiries via email and online chat.
• Fast learner with a proactive and helpful attitude.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in a European language is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in integrating API applications with third-party software (e.g., charting platforms).
