Interactive Brokers Group, Inc. seeks several API support specialists to help clients develop and troubleshoot applications connecting to our APIs, including algorithmic trading.

Candidates should have a CS degree and hands-on experience with Java and Python, plus REST API, Git, and Linux/Windows environments. English communication strong.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 1+ years of coursework and/or professional experience programming in Java and Python; familiarity with C# and C++ is a plus.
• Proficiency with Linux Terminal and Windows command line tools.
• Working knowledge of Git workflows.
• Strong understanding of REST API architecture.
• Excellent written communication skills for handling client inquiries via email and online chat.
• Fast learner with a proactive and helpful attitude.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in a European language is an advantage.
• Familiarity with trading terminology.
• Basic proficiency across operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Experience with algorithmic trading.

Responsibilities

• Support third-party institutions in integrating their applications with IBKR systems.

• Contribute to internal development efforts, including the creation of custom tools for internal teams and Client Service.
