Job summary

Ebitaus is a FinTech and RegTech product company building innovative technology solutions for the Banking and Financial Services industry. We are looking for a passionate and skilled Software Engineer who enjoys building scalable applications and solving complex technical challenges with modern technologies.

Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications, backend services using Java and Spring Boot, and frontend interfaces with React.js.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of software development experience in FinTech or product-based companies.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot and React.js stacks is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications.
• Develop robust backend services, RESTful APIs, and business logic using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build responsive frontend interfaces using React.js.
• Design and integrate REST APIs and third-party services with internal apps.
• Work with PostgreSQL databases, including design, queries, and data management.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and performance issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to better architecture.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, and QA Engineers to deliver quality software.
• Support deployment, monitoring, and maintenance on AWS infrastructure.
• Follow coding standards and secure development practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications.
• Develop robust backend services, RESTful APIs, and business logic using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build responsive, user-friendly frontend interfaces using React.js.
• Design and integrate REST APIs and third-party services with internal applications.
• Work with PostgreSQL databases, including database design, query optimization, and data management.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application bugs, performance issues, and technical challenges.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and contribute to improving application architecture.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, and QA Engineers to deliver quality software solutions.
• Support application deployment, monitoring, and maintenance on AWS infrastructure.
• Follow coding standards, secure development practices, and software engineering best practices.

Techinical skill required:

• Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and React.js.
• Experience in developing REST APIs and working with Microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including SQL queries and database optimization.
• Familiarity with AWS services, Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience using AI-powered development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude Code is must.

Candidate Profile:

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in software application development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in FinTech, BFSI, Banking, NBFC, or product-based companies is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of deliverables, and collaborate within a fast-paced development team.
