Carrerlift in India is seeking a software engineer to build and maintain fintech software solutions, focusing on secure backend services and scalable APIs.

You'll work with Python, Java, React, and cloud tech on AWS, contribute to architecture decisions, and participate in agile sprints and automated validation.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Python, and Java in fintech contexts.
• Working knowledge of Agile workflows and test-driven development.
• Understanding of REST/JSON/XML, JDBC and distributed systems.

About the role:

• Build and maintain software solutions within the financial technology sector using modern development practices
• Develop backend services and APIs that handle financial data and transactions securely
• Contribute to system design decisions that balance performance with reliability across distributed environments
• Write code that follows test-driven development principles and undergoes automated validation
• Participate in agile sprints, code reviews, and collaborative problem-solving sessions

What you'll work on:

• Python and Java applications deployed on AWS infrastructure
• Frontend interfaces built with React and backend systems using Spring Boot or Node.js
• Microservices and service-oriented architectures that communicate via REST APIs and JSON payloads
• SQL and NoSQL database design and optimization for financial workloads
• CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, and AWS deployment tools like CodeDeploy
• Monitoring systems with CloudWatch and structured logging for production visibility

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Python, and Java in fintech contexts
• Working knowledge of agentic AI concepts and frameworks
• Solid grasp of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and distributed systems fundamentals
• Familiarity with Agile workflows and test-driven development methodologies
• Understanding of React, Spring Boot, Node.js, SQL, and NoSQL databases
• Knowledge of REST, JSON, XML, JDBC, and service-oriented architecture principles
• Experience with automated testing frameworks, secure coding practices, authentication and authorization mechanisms, and web security principles
• Comfort with Git version control, Jenkins automation, DevOps practices, and AWS monitoring and deployment services
• Strong analytical thinking, clear communication, and ability to work effectively in teams
